I got my first camera when I was ten years old in Taranaki and had my first professional images published in 1987 (Horse-racing, The Daily News, New Plymouth). Alongside a variety of work in journalism, illustration, design and advertising I've been a professional photographer for over 27 years - broken up with travel, study and a wide range of experience in many industries and countries. I returned to NZ in 2007 and battled the global recession to set up shop here in Wellington, beginning with a four-year supply of imagery to Photosport before stepping into a more independent position with a wider range of clients.
